Beta Program Terms

Effective Date: October 19, 2026

1. What the beta is

GetInto.College LLC ("we," "us") is running a private beta of the GetInto.College platform at getinto.college ("the Service") before it opens to everyone. You join the beta with an invite code or by requesting an invite from the waitlist. These Beta Program Terms ("Beta Terms") apply to everything you do in the beta, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Things will be broken, and that is the point

The beta is unfinished software. Features may be broken, may not work properly, or may be missing. Pages may show errors, numbers may be wrong, and unsaved work may be lost. Finding those problems before the Service opens to everyone is the explicit reason the beta exists. We ask you to use the Service the way your family really would and to tell us what is broken, confusing or missing with the Beta feedback button on any page. Please do not rely on the beta for a college or financial decision without checking the facts with the school or the program directly.

3. There is no charge for beta testing

Beta testing is free. Your beta account includes the Guided Plan at no cost for the length of your beta period, and we will never bill you for taking part. If we offer beta families a price for a plan after the beta, that offer is optional and the price is shown to you before you pay anything. Nothing in the beta creates a charge, a subscription or a renewal.

4. What we ask of you

  • Keep your invite code within your household.
  • Report problems honestly; one sentence is enough.
  • Do not put another person's personal information into a feedback report.
  • Do not try to break the Service on purpose, probe its security, or copy its data.

5. Your data in the beta

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and it applies to the beta in full. A feedback report includes the page address, your browser and screen size, and the beta mission you were on. A screenshot or a screen recording is included only when you attach one. Our team reviews beta activity and reports to fix problems and to improve the Service.

6. Students and parents

Students aged 13 to 17 take part as members of a household with a parent or guardian who can see and manage the household. Children under 13 may not take part. A parent or guardian may end a student's participation at any time from the household settings or by writing to us. Our Children's Privacy Notice explains what we collect from students under 18 and how long we keep it.

7. Changes, pauses and the end of the beta

We may change, pause or end the beta, or any part of it, at any time, and we may end a beta account for misuse. The beta ends when the Service opens to everyone. Your account and your saved work stay with you after the beta, under the Terms of Service.

8. How these terms fit with our other terms

These Beta Terms add to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where they say something different about the beta, these Beta Terms apply. Everything else, including the disclaimers and the limitation of liability, stays as written in the Terms of Service.
